Goal

Purpose & Goal

In spite of its rich educational heritage, the college does not intend to sit on the past laurels. Keeping in view the ever-increasing academic demands and the soaring academic level achieved by institutions the world over;

(A) SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS

 Being an exclusively commerce-discipline college, City College of Commerce and Business Administration has but limited scope to involve disciplines outside a specific periphery of studies and scholarship. However, Seminars sponsored by the UGC, both at National and State Levels, have been successfully organised by the college. These seminars have addressed areas as diverse as Economics, Literature and Environmental Studies, and have seen the presence of a galaxy of scholars participating in thd sessions both from the Stae and beyond.

   The Seminar was addressed by esteemed houses like ICAI, ICWAI, ICSI, Wipro, Pantaloons   

   and others. It offered a golden opportunity to students from all sections and classes to   

   directly interact with the resource persons and have a clear roadmap for future.

   ii) Date: January 20, 2016

   A workshop addressed by Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) 

   and the Pune Institute of Management offered a similar opportunity to students to broaden

   their vision further.

INVITED LECTURE

 

Prof. Bharat Dalal, a renowned Capital market professional and the current Head of the Department of Finance at Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM), delivered an invited lecture on ‘DEMONETISATION, GST AND THEREAFTER…’ at the ICT-enabled Room of the college on February 15, 2018. Attended by a host of Principals from other colleges, teachers, students and some ex-professors, the academic session had some enthralling interactive sessions.
