Annual gender sensitization action plan:
The institution is a Commerce-discipline college for male students only. However, it has staff members of both genders in the Teaching as well as Non-Teaching categories. Keeping in view the necessity of sanctity, propriety and delicacy in the treatment of all the staff members, the college follows the following basic principles:
• No line of demarcation drawn between teachers on the basis of gender
• Equal distribution of classes and other academic responsibilities
• Equal opportunity provided to the teaching staff of both genders for joining career advancement programmes
• The Grievance Redressal Cell saddled with the responsibility of addressing any disrespect shown towards the female teachers
• Opinions and ideas of all staff members equally entertained and addressed
• Gender sensitivity maintained in the office where the single female staff member is given respectable seclusion and work commensurate with her position
Despite the Pandemic situation, the aforementioned principles were followed.
