The students receive funds from two sources: the State Government and the funds allocated for them from the college fund. The allocation is done with a view to catering to the needs of needy students. The percentage of students varies from year to year depending on the number of students enrolled, but the funds they receive are disbursed under the two heads mentioned above. Aid Funds are also coupled with Free-ship, which is granted exclusively to the economically backward students. 

Students from the SC/ST, OBC and economically weaker sections are allowed the following benefits:

• Scholarships
• Concession in registration fees at the time of admission
• Relaxation in marks at the time of admission
